The ensemble was established mainly to play the musical pieces
composed by Kenji Miyazawa,
a genius poet, author and composer born in Iwate Prefecture,
Northern Japan. The ensemble consists of
top-class six recorder players.
We have been holding concerts to invite you to the depth of
his fantastic world of music in accompaniment of reading his stories
and poems. We are certain you will enjoy our concerts with
the top-class recorder players and readers. Our concerts have
a title of "Concert of Starry Province"
named after the beautiful night sky of Ihatov area.
